"A native American grandfather was talking to his grandson about how he felt.

He said 'I feel as if I have two wolves fighting in my heart. One wolf is the vengeful, angry, violent one. The other wolf is the loving, compassionate one.'

The grandson asked him, 'Which wolf will win the fight in your heart?'

The grandfather answered: 'The one I feed.'"

- A Native American Story

About Heart Sound Music

Nurture your mind with great thoughts; to believe in the heroic makes heroes. - Benjamin Disraeli

The greatest challenge that has beset mankind since the beginning of time has been the two (or more) voices that speak to us from inside our own mind. This self-talk (the two wolves fighting) is often the catalyst for how we perceive our reality and ultimately translates into the decisions and choices that we make on a daily basis. In the practical sense it is these decisions and choices that determine how our life unfolds.

How many times have you "talked" yourself right out of the very thing that would be in your best interest, or higher good, or that you really wanted?

How many times has your self-talk told you that you can't, your not good enough, you don't deserve that, you're a failure, or you're a loser?

The biggest question of all is: "Which wolf are you feeding?"

The "Chicken Soup for the Soul" series of books has already overwhelmingly shown us that our world is starving for stories of encouragement, inspiration and hope, with over 80 Million copies sold. Stories that take us from our "head to our heart". Stories that make us feel just a little bit better about who we are. Stories that feed the loving wolf.

We are bombarded on a daily basis with internal and external stimulus that says, "We are not good enough", "not thin enough", "not cute enough', "not smart enough", "not competitive enough", "not fast enough", and on and on. Well, enough is enough!

If I create from the heart, nearly everything works; if from the head, almost nothing. - Marc Chagall - Artist

The Vision

The pessimist complains about the wind; the optimist expects it to change; the realist adjusts the sails. - William Arthur Ward

It is the intention of Heart Sound Music, to be to the music world, what "Chicken Soup for the Soul" has been to the literary world. Sound food for the best in you!
